My name is Kendra, I live in Hernando county Florida. A couple of years ago I noticed a crack on my ceiling in my living room. I had a company come out and was told we needed piers to hold the house up, that the foundation was slipping. We financed it through greensky, and was able to get the piers. Was told the crack wouldn’t close, but it would not move anymore. Fast forward, I notice the crack is still moving. Not only getting wider, but longer. So we call them back, they come, say we need more piers and polyfoam, because this end isn’t moving but the other end of the house is. So we financed again, more piers and polyfoam to be pumped under the house. We were told it definitely will not be moving now. The entire right side of the house, back side, and corner of the left side has peirs. And the entire back side has polyfoam pumped under the foundation. Fast forward to now, the crack is getting wider, and longer, and new cracks are appearing. Not only on the inside, but on the outside also. We already have two separate financed projects with greensky and this company, for the first set of peirs, and the second set of piers and polyfoam. They said they couldn’t combine the two, even though they happened in a couple of months,(if that) of eachother. I also couldn’t do the second one on my own. I had to have my boyfriend cosign with me for approval. And now, we’re here again. Needing 5 more peirs. With these 5, the entire right, left, and backside of the house will have piers. We can’t afford to finance another, almost 13,000$, and add a third payment to the two we already make. Not only that, but I’m sure, even if we tried too, we’d be denied. So I am trying to raise the 12,380$ we need to do these 5 peirs. I have pictures and proof of everything I’ve stated. The cover photo I chose, is the write up of the 5 peirs we need per the last guy I had come out, with the same company, and tell me why my home is still spitting in half, on May 20,2025. If the full amount I’m trying to raise, isn’t raised in a certain amount of time, im not 100% sure on the time frame, but if it’s not raised by the deadline, then anything, and everything donated will go back to whoever donated in full. The bill is 12,379.and some change, but I rounded up, to 12,500 because there is a fee of some sort through go fund me. I’m not 100% sure what it is or how much it will be. But that’s why I rounded. I’m not trying to scam anyone, or take advantage. I understand every person has something going on in their lives, and sometimes, some things are worse than others. But I also figure, it doesn’t hurt to ask for help when you need it. So if I raise the funds, we get the peirs, and hopefully the cracks will stop. And if not, the house continues to crack until we are forced to leave because it would then be unsafe and unlivable. Anyways, if you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to do so.
