This is a plea for help for our 501c3 non profit Jasper’s Dachshund Sanctuary & Rescue Services. We have been in the same locations for over a decade (16 years) and saving fur babies lives giving them a Furever home.

We face losing our Sanctuary Home base due to the owner of the property giving us 60 days to move so he can let his son live in the place we call home. We don’t have the funds to move and relocate and all the dachshund and dachshund mix babies we have are mostly special needs and seniors who we have provided for and wish to continue to provide for them. We fear for the future of our family.

We don’t want to lose our babies!

Our story starts with our boy Jasper who became epileptic when we was young and from there we found a path and started rescuing other medically special babies who were facing dire situations or stuck in high kill shelters. We have 10 dogs currently and 5 kittys we have rescued. We also have many sweet spirits that are in this home also who we fear we are leaving behind.

We have been in this home for 16 years with no worries and renting form a person who shared a love for fur kids. When we were served a notice yesterday we were blindsided and when the owner called me back he explained he had to have us move so he can have his son live here. We have 16 years of a home to move & find someplace during the holidays so we can secure our fur family.

my wife and I are both disables as well. I have spinal issues and my wife has more personal health concerns that have take her from her teaching career of 30 years.

We barely have a monthly income.

I have been trying to think of every option and many in the dachshund community and other friends have suggested I start this GoFundMe to find the hell we need financially to pursue securing the funds we need for these babies. This event is directly for them and while we are searching for a new home this is for them and their future and the future of all the lives ye have yet to rescue and give sanctuary to.

The monthly cost for medications, vets visits, supplies, food are a huge concern that has been eating at our savings and now that is left all has to go towards someplace to live which would take away from the needs of our fur kids. We are faced with selling most of what we do own currently so we can provide whatever we can towards this.

So please find it in your heart to donate and help us get from here to a another place we can call the rescue home and please know that this is for Jumpin Jasper, George Cooper, Hope Luna, Grace Ann, Hannah Joy, Sweetheart, Fredrick Von, Princess Penny, Yogi Bear, Riley Roo, Ozzy, Boone, Peanut, Maui and Opie.

The unconditional love of our fur babies is the purpose for what we do today in life. My wife and I can only do so much and this emergency situation has thrown a challenge at us that we going into head on and with the help of our community.

The goal is set to what would be needed to provide for the purpose of saving our rescue and the lives of our fur babies. Thank you so much to everyone.
