Urgent Help Needed to Save Himal Rai's Life

Hello helping hands,

I am Alisha Rai, and I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. Just five months ago, my beloved husband, Himal Rai, 29 years old and I began our journey together in marriage. However, our happiness has been abruptly overshadowed by a grave medical crisis.

It all began when Himal developed flu-like symptoms and a high fever. Alarmed by his condition, we rushed him to the emergency department at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS). What followed was a devastating diagnosis of Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS) and Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC). Himal's health deteriorated rapidly, and he experienced a seizure that left him unconscious. Since then, he has been fighting for his life while on a ventilator with intubation.

In our unwavering pursuit of the best possible care for Himal, we made the difficult decision to charter an air ambulance to transfer him to Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu. He has now been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for nearly five days, undergoing critical treatments, including dialysis. Despite the dedicated efforts of the medical team, Himal's condition continues to worsen.

The financial burden of Himal's medical treatment has become an overwhelming challenge for us. The cost of his care far exceeds our ability to manage. We are now at a point where every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in Himal's fight for survival.
