I'm an independent cat rescuer who suddenly faces a crisis with my own two cats.
In one day, I found out my 11-year-old ginger cat, Rice, has severe kidney issues, and my 15-year-old girl, Rios, has a massive tumor. I had been delaying the vet visits because of money, and now I blame myself for them being in the state they are. This news was crushing as they are my family; I have no one else.
The vet bill was $1120, and now I am faced with expensive special kidney food and medications to try and shrink the tumor. I have been out of work, despite desperately trying to get a job, and have no money for this.
Without the medications (compounded steroids), the kidney diet wet and dry food, kidney supplements, and daily fluids (both expensive as heck!), the prognosis for my babies is not good.
I will have follow-up exams and more blood tests in three weeks, and can't pay for that either. Please help me save my babies with very much needed medical care.
Please help if you can with even a small donation.
Anything will be greatly appreciated and could save Rios and Rice's lives.
