Hi friends, I’m in a really tough spot and need urgent help. My car was impounded on Tuesday due to past-due registration, and the fees are piling up quickly: $65 per day, with the current cost to get it out of the impound $789, and late registration plus fees and some parking tickets totaling $1,445.

I’m not proud to have let things get behind, and I’ve been working to resolve this, but I don’t currently have the funds to cover the impound and registration.

This car is essential for my daily life: it’s how I get to work, take care of responsibilities, and keep my life moving. It’s also crucial for me to make my way back to the East Coast to be reunited with my daughter.

I received a call from the credit union holding my loan with a clear window and warning: if I can get the car by Wednesday, it will not be repossessed. That means every day counts, and I’m reaching out for support to make that possible.
