It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved sister, mentor, motivator, and deepest friend, Ijeoma 'Adanne' Nwachukwu. She was and is more than a sister, she had a voice that started my day with encouragement, she was a person that pushed me past what I believed was my entirety. I miss her laughter, her wise advice, and the simple comfort of knowing she was always there and now I'm left navigating the discomfort of her absence. However, I won't allow grief to interrupt what my sister rightfully deserves which is a sincere and earnest send off.
I am asking for help. Help from well meaning friends, family, and anyone who knew my sister Ijeoma to support her burial and give her the dignified farewell she deserves. The cost of a funeral has become a heavy burden, and any amount contributed will be used to honour my sister ensuring the love and impact she had on all of us is used to send her off peacefully.
Your generosity would mean the world to us as we navigate this painful loss and begin the healing process.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page with others capable of doing so. Your prayers, messages, and words of encouragement are also a tremendous blessing during this time.
Thank you from the depths of my heart for standing with me, for supporting my family, and for helping us lay my sister Adanne to rest with the grace she deserves.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
With gratitude,
