Robyn, diagnosed with CIDP in March 2024 but suffering from symptoms since July 2023, has faced significant challenges due to the disease's impact on her mobility, speech, hearing, vision, and overall strength. Her home has fallen into disrepair, requiring extensive cleaning and home repairs. In March of this year she fell comatose for 24 days, leaving her children to move in with family until she can safely return home with in home care.

CIDP stands for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy which is an autoimmune disease of the nervous system that runs throughout the head, neck, and body. This disease has impaired her ability to walk, her speech and hearing, dexterity, vision, overall strength, and stability. It has changed Robyn's life to where she now needs in home care, has to attend regular medical appointments, and needs to use a wheel chair, A Hoyer lift machine to transfer to a shower bed, and use the Hoyer lift To transfer her to a GERI – chair. she can’t use the standard wheelchair as she has slipped and fallen out of that numerous times, so she has to use that wheelchair that reclines at the back which thankfully she has at home.

In October of this year Operation Kindness will gut and sanitize the house while Small Town Heating and Air will repair the HVAC. Sara Staged It will be assising with furniture donations. However, Robyn still needs essential appliances like a washer, dryer, and microwave.

Monetary donations would help cover medical expenses, a wheelchair ramp, home repairs, and clothing for her children. Robyn is grateful for the support she has received and hopes to return home soon.
