This is very weird, I never thought I’d be in a position making one of these but here I am!

My friends call me Slim and I’m raising funds to keep my dog Bella safe while I work through an unexpected life transition.

I recently started truck driving school and was told I’d be able to bring Bella with me once I officially began. Unfortunately, I just found out I’ll need to drive solo for 3–6 months before that’s even an option. Bella is currently with my grandmother in North Carolina, but due to personal limitations, she’s no longer able to keep her. She’s given me a very short window to figure something out or risk Bella being taken to a shelter.

I’m on the road now, far from home, with no local contacts in the area. My only option is to get Bella placed in a boarding facility or temporary foster care immediately until I can bring her with me.

This has been incredibly stressful. Bella is my heart; she’s been with me through so much, and I can’t imagine her being surrendered simply because I need a little more time to find a solution.

I’m asking for $7000 to cover:

• Her boarding while I’m on the road

• Any transport or vet requirements for the facility

• Basic essentials for her care
