Urgent Help Needed to Honor Melodie

Donation protected
Hello all, my name is Rylie, and bare with me as I tell you the story of my Mother in law.

Her name was Melodie, she was one of the best women I knew and she became my best friend over the last 8 years.

It was July of 1983 and mom is with the man that she knew she wanted to be with for the rest of her life. However, they hadn't had a chance to get married before my husband was conceived. So at 9 months pregnant, my mother in law is at the local sears, picking out a dress that will fit at 9 months pregnant. They find one and mom is ready to get married. 5 days later, my husband is born lol. 1 year later his brother was born. Fast forward some years and their family moves from Texas to Iowa for a change of scenery to a small town called Eldora, it's a cute little town tucked away next to iowa falls. After some time both boys move back to Texas, and I meet my husband in 2017. Just 3 months after being together, we move to Iowa to help with his parents. This where I meet mom, she was funny, loving, caring and no one dare get in her way or tell her no lol. She was riddled with diagnoses. But one we didn't know about was a brain tumor. For 8 years or so, this woman lived with a brain tumor that should have ended her within months. But God gave her the strength to hold on.

We lose dad in 2024 and we move her here to Texas to be with us. Everything is going well until Feb of this year when she fell and broke both her shoulder and her hip on the left side. And like all hospitals do, they do a CT scan to see if anything is broken, that's where they found the tumor. They did surgery and a biopsy and determined it to be terminal. So she goes through rehab to strengthen her hip and shoulder and comes home and we start treatment. She lasted 2 weeks on treatment and decided she was done because the pain was to much. So we switch from home health to hospice, where she lasted a week and half before she left us to go be with dad.

Now, we are trying to put together funds to lay her to rest and it is just proving difficult as I stayed home to take care of her. We need this by Tuesday of next week if anybody can help us please. All we want to do is lay this beautiful woman to rest, and could really use the help, so please, if you can't donate, share with everyone you can so that we can get this by Tuesday. Thank you for listening.
