Hello all—some of you may know parts of the back story, but I have gotten divorced since the last time I was here. I do not receive any alimony. I moved to Tennessee in June and have been struggling to find stable work since my arrival. I have been able to eke by with the help of a roommate, but they were recently injured on the job and have not been able to work in the last 6 weeks or so. We are still waiting for workers' comp to come through, but so far they have not received anything. This has resulted ultimately in my getting an eviction notice yesterday. I have 11 days to come up with the back rent or I will be forced out of the small house I am currently in, right before the holidays.

I am at a loss for options. I am working with Goodwill to see if there is anything they can do to help. There is not as much public help in TN as there was in NJ. Trust me when I say I would not be putting this up if I thought I had any other options.

I know it's the holidays and money is probably tight all around. But even 5 dollars would help right now. Thank you for at least reading this far.
