Urgent Help Needed: Supporting Eman and Her Family in Gaza
Donation protected
Salaam aleikum and hello.
My name is Eman Yehya. I am from Gaza and we are a family of eight. We lived in a four-story house, built with our own bricks, my father's sweat, and years of struggle. But in an instant, it all ended. Our house was bombed, and everything we owned was buried under the rubble. We took nothing from it—not clothes, papers, or even memories.
Since that day, we have been trapped in a tunnel with no end in sight. My elderly father and mother suffer from chronic illnesses: diabetes, high blood pressure, and cartilage problems. They require daily medication, but we can barely find enough to sustain ourselves.
We lived in a small tent for a year and a half, trying to find protection from the oppression, not from the rain or the cold. But even the tent did not protect us. We were robbed. My married sister's gold was stolen (she is abandoned and lives with us with her two children). Her money was stolen, and we were left homeless, on the street, without the basic necessities of life.
My mother, who once weighed 90 kilograms, now weighs only 59 kilograms due to extreme fatigue and hunger.
My father, too, now weighs 63 kilograms, an elderly man exhausted by life.
Our cry today is not just for help, but for someone to feel us. Someone to see us. We can't bear it anymore. All we ask for is a roof over our heads, medicine to protect our parents' lives, and dignity that isn't trampled on every day.
NB: I am Nina from London and I am managing Eman's fundraising page. We met during ummrah in Dec 2019 and have remained in touch ever since. All the money raised will be sent directly to Eman.
