Urgent Help Needed: Sami’s Family Lost Everything in a Northern Gaza Airstrike

My name is Fatima Ali, and I am urgently asking for your help to support my friend, Sami Sobhi Abu Salem, a father, husband, and survivor from Northern Gaza, where the situation has become truly catastrophic.

Sami’s family is among the countless innocent civilians suffering in Northern Gaza, an area devastated by relentless airstrikes, siege conditions, and a growing humanitarian crisis. Access to food, water, medicine, and shelter is nearly nonexistent. Daily life is a struggle to survive — and for Sami, it has turned into a nightmare.

Sami, his wife (who is pregnant with twins), and their children — Rahaf, Mohammad, and Shahd — lived in a crowded home with about 50 relatives, including many children and elders. In a single moment, an airstrike destroyed their entire home, leaving them with absolutely nothing.

But the tragedy doesn’t stop there.

Sami’s workshop, his only source of income, was also destroyed in the airstrike. His vehicle — gone. His tools, his livelihood, his dreams — all reduced to ashes. He is now left with no income, no home, and no safety, in one of the most dangerous and devastated places in the world.

Despite this overwhelming loss, Sami and his wife remain steadfast in their prayers for the safe arrival of their unborn twins.

نداء عاجل: ساعدوا عائلة سامي التي فقدت كل شيء في قصف جوي على شمال غزة

اسمي فاطمة علي، وأناشدكم من أعماق قلبي لدعم صديقي سامي صبحي أبو سالم، وهو أب وزوج ومن سكان شمال غزة، المنطقة التي تعيش واحدة من أسوأ الكوارث الإنسانية في العالم اليوم.

سامي وعائلته من بين آلاف المدنيين الأبرياء الذين يعانون من أوضاع كارثية في شمال غزة، حيث القصف المستمر، وانعدام الغذاء والماء والدواء، وانهيار تام للبنية التحتية. الحياة هناك أصبحت صراعًا يوميًا من أجل البقاء.

سامي يعيش مع زوجته الحامل بـتوأم وأطفاله الثلاثة — رهف، محمد، وشهد — في بيت يضم حوالي خمسين فردًا من العائلة، من أطفال وكبار في السن. وفي لحظة واحدة، دمر قصف جوي منزلهم بالكامل، ولم يتبق لهم شيء.

لكن المصيبة لم تتوقف عند ذلك.

لقد فقد سامي أيضًا ورشة النجارة التي كانت مصدر رزقه الوحيد، كما احترقت سيارته، وضاع كل ما يملك. لم يتبق له أي وسيلة لإعالة أسرته، ولا حتى أبسط أساسيات الحياة.

ورغم هذه المأساة، ما زال سامي وزوجته يتمسكان بالأمل والدعاء لولادة توأمهما بسلام.

نطلق هذا النداء العاجل لجمع التبرعات لمساعدة سامي وعائلته على البقاء والصمود داخل غزة. ستُستخدم التبرعات لتوفير:

• احتياجات أساسية من طعام وماء ودواء للأطفال والزوجة الحامل

• ملابس وأدوات معيشة لعائلة فقدت كل شيء

• دعم لإعادة بناء مصدر رزق سامي في المستقبل
