URGENT! HELP NEEDED! PLEASE HELP SAVE WEBBLE
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Patty, a Volunteer with Forgotten Cats. Pictured is a very sweet male cat we named Weeble.
Webbles Story:
I was headed into New Jersey last weekend and when coming thru the toll booth at the Delaware Memorial Bridge, I spotted a cat, not in a very safe area! It was getting late so I went home but could not stop thinking about this cat all alone, probably cold, hungry and scared. The next morning I took a trap and carrier and went back to see if he was still around. There he was sitting very much alone and frightened. He didn't try to run when I approached him, he wasn't able to walk very well, he's very wobbly. I feared he had been hit by a car or injured some how. With no houses close to this area, I also feared he may have been dumped here.
I took him straight to Forgotten Cats to be checked out . He was already neutered, and has an ear tip. No microchip.
We named him Weeble.
The Vets have been closely monitoring him and done several exams, bloodwork and sadly Weeble has been diagnosed with FIP!
❌URGENT HELP NEEDED!
He has been diagnosed with Neurological FIP. This virus is 100 percent fatal without immediate intervention. He WILL die in the matter of days without a life saving treatment. Due to the type of FIP, his size and age we are looking at 5-6,000. I am DESPERATE FOR HELP! I cannot let this be the end. He deserves more. I know this is a lot of money to ask for especially this time of year. Please if everyone can give a little it could add up to enough to help him fight this death sentence. Knowing there is a medication that can save his life I have to at least give it my all.
Another volunteer at Forgotten Cats has saved other cats with this treatment. Please check out her page Holly Goldfether.
Right now Weeble is very depressed, not feeling well, he has lameness in his back legs causing him to urinate and the other on himself.
I think he's actually embarrassed, he's such a sweet boy and he deserves so much better. He wants to live! How can anyone just look the other way when there's an absolute way to help him.
This treatment will last 3 months. We have a medical foster who has agreed to administer the medication. All I need is to raise the funds. I can't do it alone. PLEASE I need everyone's support. Please help me help Weeble.
No amount is too small, everything counts and adds up PLEASE!
I will give updates throughout his progress. Please share with anyone and everyone and let's save Weebles!
