It is with a heavy heart that I am having to announce that our sister in Islam Bisharo Abukar Abdirahman:

Mother of young Aragsan (1 year old)

Step Mother of Adam and Asbadh Ali

Has been diagnosed with Leukaemia.

I (Adam Ali) am raising funds for my step-mother, who has recently been diagnosed with this cancer. We had to take her urgently from Somalia to India for proper medical treatment. The travel, hospital admission, and diagnostic procedures have already cost £10,500, exhausting our family’s limited resources.

Now that she has been diagnosed, her immediate one-month treatment plan is estimated at £45,000 (which includes fees for the ICU she has been admitted into, costing around $1000/day) . This amount is far beyond what we can manage alone, and her condition requires urgent care.

Allah ﷻ says:

“Whoever saves a life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)

The Prophet ﷺ also taught us:

“Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih Muslim)
