Hi, my name is Krista. I am a survivor of domestic violence — sadly, this is the FORTH time I’ve gone through this in just two years. I’m also a single mom to two amazing children: my 5-year-old daughter and my 2-year-old son.

Life has been very hard lately. After escaping abuse, I was robbed, had things stolen from me, and even lost my car. Now, I’m facing another crisis: my power has been shut off. Without help, I’m terrified I could lose my kids — and they are my whole world.

I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but I don’t know where else to turn. I just need a little support to get through this storm, keep the lights on, and give my babies the safe and stable home they deserve.
