Hi, I’m Jen — and I’m asking for help for my aunt, who is going through an overwhelming and heartbreaking medical crisis right now.

She has been in the hospital for several weeks and is facing eviction from her home with no income and no support system in place. Doctors say she will require full-time care when she is discharged — someone to help her get to the bathroom, prepare meals, manage medications, clean, and transport her to appointments.

There is currently no plan in place for how she’ll receive the care she needs. To make matters worse, she’s behind on rent, and eviction is looming.

We are trying to hold everything together for her, but the truth is — we can’t do this without help.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Back rent to avoid eviction

• Emergency support while she’s still in the hospital

• Future caregiving or assisted living placement

• Transportation, basic needs, and transition care
