Urgent Help Needed for Whiskey's Healing

Hi, my name is Nevaeh and I'm trying to raise funds to give my sweet boy, Whiskey, a chance to recover. Whiskey is a five-year-old husky who got in a tragic accident earlier this morning (3/14/25). My landlord left the gate to our yard open, and Whiskey escaped (along with his sister, Marcy). He was hit by a car that unfortunately did not stop to check on him. Currently, he's in an emergency clinic in critical condition with two collapsed lungs, fluid building in his abdomen, and a limp. I'm doing everything I can to give him a chance to heal; however, our doctor has stated that Whiskey will need days in the ER with oxygen and two chest tubes to even begin recovery. We are optimistic that if we can give him the time he needs to heal his lungs, he could make it out of there okay. Already, we have spent seven thousand to stabilize him and pay for his first night in the hospital. We are unfortunately very quickly reaching a breaking point with his care and could sincerely use help.
