Urgent Help Needed for Waunita's Cremation

Many of you knew my mother, Waunita. Last year, she passed away in her sleep. She was a loved and cherished member of our family and was loved by so many friends and extended families.

Unfortunately, when she passed away, there was a bit of confusion about which tribe she was registered with Quapaw or Osage or both. Once things were sorted out, her tribe refused to pay out her death benefit due to the amount of time that had passed (everything had to be finalized within 60 days). This leaves me as the one responsible to pay for her cremation. She didn’t have any life insurance or any other sort of plans for her end of life—she had counted on her tribe.
