Hello all, it is tough to find the words for this.

You may have seen in a recent post that my abuser has passed away (my stepfather).

Things have been really tough recently. My mother is out of state dealing with his passing, but I'm still here and the house oil furnace has gone out. The landlords have a contract terminating clause about portable heaters and such as it's an older cottage home.

It's 20-40 degrees this coming week, and I don't have the funds to repair this on my own :(

I normally wouldn't ask for help, but I worry for my cat's health as well as my own.
