My name is Elis Rivas, and I am desperately asking for your help to save my baby, Toby.

In 2023, I rescued Toby from Miami-Dade Animal Services. He was previously known as "Boeing" and had been confined at the Medley shelter. I gave him a second chance at life, a loving home, and a family. Now, I'm terrified of losing him.

Recently, Toby and I moved from Miami to Ocala, Florida, hoping for a fresh start and a better financial situation. Miami had become extremely expensive, and I was doing everything possible to build a more stable life for us.

Unfortunately, just as we were beginning this new chapter, Toby started experiencing a terrifying medical emergency. TOBY NEEDS IMMEDIATE VETERINARY CARE! Toby has been vomiting white foam, whining in pain, and passing alarming amounts of liquid blood instead of normal stool. Watching my baby suffer without knowing what's happening to him is absolutely heartbreaking.

I am rushing Toby to OnPoint Veterinary Urgent Care in Ocala, but I am facing a devastating financial situation. After our recent move, I barely have enough money to cover his initial consultation, let alone the additional medical care he may desperately need.

Depending on the veterinarian's findings, Toby may require:

Emergency veterinary examination and treatment

Blood work to determine what's causing his symptoms

X-rays and potentially an ultrasound

Medication, hospitalization, or additional lifesaving treatment

I don't know what his diagnosis will be or how expensive his treatment may become. All I know is that Toby needs medical attention immediately, and I cannot afford to do this alone.
