As most of you know, I am a dog person. My Petey passed away a year ago on Easter, which is how Teddy came along - we wanted to fill our void with a sweet baby.

On Sunday, Teddy started acting strange, and we rushed him over to emergency, to find he had swallowed my son’s pacifier. The pacifier was on a paci clip/string. The following morning, he had emergency surgery to find the string had wrapped around his intestines and completely cut off all circulation. His intestines were black. They did all they could and were able to remove everything.

Today (day 3), Teddy has made a turn for the worse, and his intestines have no movement after an ultrasound, which is increasing his pain. We may be doing surgery again tomorrow. We will know more tomorrow.

So here comes my ask -

First and foremost, prayers & good vibes now and in the coming days.

Second, if you are able to contribute towards the medical costs. We have put thousands of dollars already into this - and if surgery is needed tomorrow, we are going to be in a binding place. We fortunately have pet insurance, but we do not get full reimbursement, so we have a lot of funds being thrown at this.

Ted is my baby. Honestly, I can’t lose him. Thank you for your consideration amongst the circumstances.
