Hi, my name is Susie. I’m raising funds to help my Dad address several urgent issues related to his health and home. After my Mom passed in 2023, he continued working at 82 until an injury forced him into retirement. Since then, he was diagnosed with small vessel disease (leukoaraiosis) which affects memory and daily functioning.

He currently has a reverse mortgage and can no longer keep up with the costs. Based on the balance and interest, it’s only a matter of time before the loan becomes upside down and the bank takes the house. He has lived here for more than 50 years. The house requires repairs in order to list it.

preparing the house for sale

I have been handling everything related to his care and the home, but at this point professional help and repair costs are beyond my ability alone. Any contribution—large or small—will go toward resolving the home situation and making sure he can transition safely.
