Help Sandra Fight for Her Life and Overcome Unimaginable Challenges

A Plea for Help:

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Sandra. I am 31 years old, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart, seeking your support during what has been the most challenging time of my life. Over the past few years, I have faced a series of devastating losses and health challenges that have left me in a very vulnerable position.

In July 2021, I lost my beloved husband to stage 4 colon cancer. A month later, in August 2021, I lost my cousin, who was more like a brother to me. Then, last year, my grandmother, who raised me and was like a mother to me, tragically passed away after a fall. The grief and loss have been overwhelming, and the financial strain these events have caused has left my family and me in a precarious situation.

A Battle on Multiple Fronts:

As if these losses weren’t enough, the bacterial infection I fought years ago has returned, threatening my health and my life. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, dropping from 134 pounds to just 90, and I’m severely malnourished. Despite this, the medical exams I urgently need, including an endoscopy and colonoscopy to check for potential cancer spread, are out of reach because I don’t have insurance, and I’m unable to pay for these procedures out of pocket.

The stress of my deteriorating health is compounded by ongoing threats and harassment from a former roommate who attempted to pressure me into a romantic relationship. His family has powerful connections and lawyers, and I’ve been receiving constant threats from random individuals, warning me to drop the charges against him or face serious consequences. The emotional and mental toll of these threats is enormous, and it’s making my already fragile health even worse.

If anyone knows of a pro bono lawyer or can recommend affordable legal representation, it would be a tremendous help. Any donations to help cover the costs of hiring a lawyer would also be greatly appreciated, as I am unable to afford one on my own.

Struggling to Survive:

Currently, I am unable to work due to my health, and my fiancé, who has been my unwavering support, is also struggling to find employment. We are residents of Bergen County, NJ and my fiancé has years of experience in self-storage management. If anyone knows of job openings, please contact us. I am an e-commerce specialist and will be offering my services soon on Fiverr, a freelance platform. Even if you can’t support me through this campaign, supporting my business once I launch it would mean the world to me.

My medical bills are piling up, and I am already vomiting blood, a sign that my condition is becoming critical. The ER can only manage my symptoms; they cannot perform the procedures I need, which are considered outpatient services. But without insurance, the outpatient clinics won’t even schedule me. This leaves me in a dire situation where I urgently need to raise funds for these life-saving exams.
