ਮੈਂ ਭਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਮਰਦੀਪ (ਸਾਬੀ), ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ। ਅਮਰਦੀਪ 2009 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਥੋੜਾ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜਣ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ, ਮਿੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਰਸਮਾਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਣ। ਬੌਡੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਖ਼ਰਚਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੰਗੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਡਾ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਬੌਡੀ ਬਕਸ਼ੇ ‘ਚ ਪਾਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਬਰਿਜ਼ਬਨ ਤੋ ਭਾਜੀ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਬੋਪਾਰਾਏ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਭਰ ਦੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕੌਮਿਉਨਿਟੀ ਨੂੰ Repatriation and family help ਦੀ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਾੜਾ ਵਕਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ। ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਰੋ ਜੀ।

With a heavy heart, I am sharing the sudden passing of my brother Amardeep (Sabi) with you. Amardeep came to Australia in 2009 in hopes of building a better future. A few days ago, he passed away unexpectedly.

Our family is devastated. My deepest wish is to send his body back home to Punjab, India, so that our mother, family, and close friends can perform his final rites and say their goodbyes.

Sending a body back to India is a very expensive process, and due to financial difficulties at this time, I am not in a position to cover the costs on my own.

We are based in Melbourne, and our family originally comes from the Jalandhar district.

The arrangements to send my brother’s body back to Punjab are being managed by Bhaji Manjit Boparai from Brisbane.
