My name is Isaiah, and I’m going through a really tough time right now. I’ve lost power in my home, rent is past due, and I’m doing everything I can to keep myself — and my two beloved pets, my dog and a recently rescued kitten — safe and cared for.

I was recently fired from my job under circumstances that were completely unfair. They claimed I wasn’t working, but I have proof that I was. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to explain before being let go. Since then, I’ve been struggling to stay afloat.

I live with a roommate who’s doing their best to keep us going, but they can’t carry the full load alone. With bills piling up, things are at a breaking point.

I’m asking for help to raise $4,000 to cover:

• Past due rent

• Basic needs for myself and my pets
