Urgent Help Needed for Recovery After Leg Amputation

We’re reaching out during an incredibly difficult time. A beloved member of our family recently underwent a life-changing emergency: he had to have his leg amputated. He is currently in the hospital beginning the long process of healing, rehabilitation, and adjusting to this new reality.
His wife has been doing everything she can to stay strong, but the daily trips back and forth to the hospital have taken a significant financial toll. With gas prices, missed work, and the additional equipment he’ll need once he’s home, even small expenses are adding up quickly.
We are hoping to raise $1,000 to help cover fuel for transportation to and from the hospital, to purchase a safe and sturdy shower chair for when he returns home, and small assistance for bills. This will make his transition back much safer and more comfortable.
He is an Army veteran who has spent his life working hard. Asking for help isn’t easy for them, but this support would make a meaningful difference during a really overwhelming moment.
Any contribution, no matter the size, would help lift some of the burden and allow his wife to focus on his recovery rather than worrying about how to make ends meet. Even sharing this page means more than you know.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this time.
