I am humiliated to do this. I always take care of myself. But recently, I had my back reconstructed. For 5 years, I was so hunched over I could have licked my floors. Last week, I went to Miami where my back was completely reconstructed. I have a 12-inch scar down my back and a 5-inch one on my right hip. Before surgery, I was certain that financially I was good. Then, while in the hospital, I realized that SSI took my check due to me making too much. Let’s add to it, Dr. Wang’s office had not sent back my forms for my disability payments. Now, here I am crying for a week because I do not have the money to pay my rent, car payment, and utilities on 8/4/2025. I spent every day holding for 2 hours to get SSI to fix the issue, and they say they cannot until next month. I had sat in the SSI office for 5 hours to fill out the forms and set up payments. When I left, I thought I was good, but I found out the day after surgery it had not been corrected.

Due to all of these delays, if I do not have the money by Monday, I will go into eviction (the main manager in Tampa has always disliked me and will not work with me). My car, this is the first payment on it.

My surgery was major; it is one of the largest my surgeon does. I am out of work for several months and can barely get in and out of bed. The first night home, I fell and had to crawl all the way to my slider; it was not locked, and I had to call 911 because I could not get up.

Therefore, if anyone can help, I would appreciate it more than I can explain. I do not want to be put on the curb. Any amount would help.
