In July, we almost lost our mother (Marcela Porras) due to a steroid induced diabetic coma. She has been trying to save her vision for the past year due to a virus attacking her optic nerve. Treatments have included surgery and multiple medications. She has been in and out of the hospital over the last few months, and is now in a rehabilitation facility. The road to recovery is going to be a long one. Her health issues have made her unable to work and bills are piling up due to on again and off again work periods. We are asking you for any support you can provide.
