Emergency Vet Fund for Bootes.
Donation protected
My name is Jessica and I am doing my best to try and raise funds to save my sons cat. He just turned 1 year old on April 18th and has grown pretty ill over the past week or so. We noticed he was straining while trying to relieve himself, we then noticed blood in his urine.
We got him into the vet for an exam where they gave him shots of antibiotics, steroids and sent him home with another med to help him relax so he could empty his bladder. That unfortunately has not helped and he is declining quickly. He is not eating and is drinking a little water randomly.
He is in need of surgery and hospitalization for up to 4 days so they can clear the obstruction in his urinary tract and empty his bladder etc. They will use catheterization over those days to make sure its draining properly while giving him fluids and medicine. If he does not get this procedure done soon his kidneys and other organs will start to shut down and he will slip into a coma and pass away.
The hospital is saying this will cost anywhere from 700 to 1000 for this procedure. I am asking any and all animals lovers for their help. We unfortunately do not qualify for the care credits and have exhausted all other options and we are not in a place to cover the cost all at once. Our animals mean everything to us and I would hate to see this guy suffer or have to be put down at such a young age.
If you have it in your heart to help please do and pass this along. If you wish to make a donation straight to the hospital he will be at I can link the name and number below. I also have venmo, chime and cash app and can list them as well. If you can't donate please consider sharing this post and say a prayer. Thank you in advance.
