Dear Friends, Supporters, and Animal Lovers,
We are the NYC Animal Rescue Girls, a dedicated team on a mission to rescue and rehabilitate homeless animals, particularly the most vulnerable among them - kittens. Today, we come to you with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help.
Recently, we rescued 10 precious kittens from three different colonies in desperate need of assistance. Among them was Fonzie, a tiny fighter from the "Happy Days" litter, who sadly crossed over the rainbow bridge despite our best efforts. We spared no expense, pouring $750 into his veterinary care, but his little body couldn't overcome the challenges he faced.
Now, our beloved Laverne, from the "Laverne and Shirley" litter, is fighting her own battle. After rushing her to the hospital, our worst fears were confirmed - she's tested positive for Feline Panleukopenia, a highly contagious and potentially deadly disease for kittens. The cost of her treatment is staggering, with today's bill already reaching $3,700 and climbing as she needs to stay overnight for further monitoring and diagnostics.
But Laverne's fight is not just for herself; it's for the safety and well-being of her littermates - Shirley, Carmine, Joanie, Richie, Potsie, Jack, Chrissy, and Janet - who are all at risk of succumbing to this deadly virus. Every moment counts, and every dollar raised could mean the difference between life and death for these innocent souls.
We understand that times are tough for everyone, but we're reaching out to our community in this desperate hour, hoping for your support. Your generous donations will directly fund Laverne's ongoing treatment, as well as provide preventative care and support for the remaining kittens in our care.
Please, help us give these kittens a fighting chance at life. No amount is too small, and every contribution brings us one step closer to ensuring they receive the care and attention they so desperately need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, generosity, and unwavering support. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.
With deepest gratitude,
