And We Need your Help

On March 16th we found Nibbie Laying and Meowing and he couldn’t stand

So we rushed him to the vets and they took his blood work a chest exam and said we needed to Rush him to the 24hr Emergency when we got to the Emergency they did an exam on him and he had to have the first blood transfusion his platelets were down to a thousand and they were supposed to to be at a hundred thousand he was pale and his nose was white instead of a nice pink.

They said he was Very anemic after the first transfusion his blood level went up very little then it ended up going back down again so they wanted to give him another blood transfusion and the second time his levels went even lower.

And he had a third blood transfusion and his levels went up finally so they said they would let us take him home and monitor him and give him meds at home. they did an ultrasound on his abdomen and multiple other tests they still can’t find out why his Platelets are so low they have him on a high dose of steroids and a high dose of an antibiotic.

They don’t know if he has cancer because they said they couldn’t test his bone marrow yet because his blood is to low. So they still don’t know what’s wrong with him they had many doctors trying to find out what was wrong with him. And they said that they were cautiously optimistic about if he was going to survive so we are still trying to find out what is wrong with him and seeing if these meds will work.

He is my Disabled Daughters Emotional Support Animal we will keep doing everything we can this will devastate my daughter if he doesn’t make it she has had him for 9 Years. PLEASE any amount will help us during this time we have spent over $11,114 on credit cards so far and our Credit cards are now Maxed out and we still don’t know what is wrong with him.
