My name is Claire, and I’m based in the UK. I’m running this campaign on behalf of a courageous young mother in Gaza, Naifa Khaled, and her 10-month-old baby girl, Musk Khaled.

Naifa’s situation is truly heartbreaking. She is pregnant, malnourished, and living in a war zone without access to basic human needs. Her baby, Musk, is suffering deeply—there is no baby milk, no clean water, no food, and no healthcare. Due to malnutrition, Naifa can no longer breastfeed. Musk often goes to sleep crying from hunger, and Naifa has had to resort to giving her unsafe water and a cheap, unhealthy supplement just to keep her alive.

They’ve lost their home in the bombing and are now displaced, without shelter or security. Naifa is desperately in need of medical care, including Heparin injections for her pregnancy, and her daughter requires treatment for seizures, which costs just $100—a sum completely out of reach for her.

Despite countless pleas, Naifa has received no help. She’s exhausted every possible local option and has turned to me with nothing but faith and hope left.
