My family needs help once again. Last year started off not great, with me (Maxine) spending a week in the hospital with blood clots. Because of this, both my husband Chris and I had to miss work—Chris stayed with me as I recovered. Just a month after getting out of the hospital, Chris and I were in a motorcycle accident on our way home from church. Our children were in a separate vehicle and witnessed everything, which was incredibly hard for all of us. Since then, neither Chris nor I have been able to work. I have been able to substitute teach a few times, but not enough to keep up with our expenses. Both of us have had surgeries and are still recovering, with more surgeries coming up. We are still working on getting disability, and our family members have helped as much as they can, which has been a blessing. However, some urgent bills have come up that need to be paid by the end of March. We are behind on our property taxes, have medical bills and insurance premiums piling up, and a few other bills that we just haven't been able to take care of. While we've managed to pay our regular monthly bills, these extra ones are overwhelming. Any help you can give will make a difference and help relieve some of the stress we're under, especially with medical needs still ongoing. We know God will provide and everything has already been such a blessing. We just have a few more hurdles that God will provide a way through.
