I come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My beloved Teacup Chihuahua, Lulu, is facing a life-threatening condition: a liver shunt. Lulu, who is less than a year old and weighs just under 3lbs, was rescued into my life, and she quickly became my source of joy and companionship.

A couple of weeks ago, Lulu's health took a sudden turn for the worse. She couldn't walk, was foaming at the mouth, and her heartbeat was dangerously low. After rushing her to the vet, we received the devastating diagnosis: a liver shunt. Without immediate surgery, Lulu's chances of survival are slim.

As much as it pains me to admit, I am unable to bear the financial burden of Lulu's medical expenses alone. With a heavy heart and a sense of vulnerability, I turn to you, our community, for support. Lulu is not just a pet; she is family. Her spunky and sweet demeanor brings light into my life every day, and the mere thought of losing her is unbearable.
