Hi everyone,

This is Lucy/Anna, my 1 year old kitten who means the world to me. She suddenly became very sick, she stopped eating and drinking for over 48 hours, became extremely lethargic, and was hiding in corners. We rushed her to the emergency vet because we were terrified something was seriously wrong.

After tests and an ultrasound, the vet found what is likely fabric or string stuck in her intestines, causing a dangerous blockage. This is life-threatening if not treated immediately.

Lucy/Anna now needs emergency surgery, which has been quoted at $4,000–$4,500.

She will also need to stay in the hospital for at least 3 days, which costs $250 per day (around $750 total) just for recovery.

I already used everything I had to pay the initial emergency bill, which was $1,855, my bank account is completely empty now. I’ve reached the point where I simply can’t afford any more, but Lucy’s/Anna’s life depends on this surgery.

Anna/Lucy is young, strong, and has a very high chance of surviving if she gets this operation soon. She just needs help to make it through.
