I’m organizing this for my sweet friend in Texas, Lisha C. and her daughter. She lost her job suddenly and is late on January’s rent. She needs to pay $500 by the 15th. She has family in the area but they’re not open to house them. Lisha is a wonderful mother and amazing friend. She reached out to me for help and I’m not in a position to financially but I told her I would do this for her. This is a one time thing and she assures me that it will be okay next month. She has done all the paperwork and applications for unemployment but it’s not processing fast enough. If there is anything you can do to help her not have to go through an eviction she (and I) will be so grateful. That would be devastating to her precious little family. I know what it’s like to face this sort of thing and it’s gut wrenching. Sometimes just one person helping in a small way makes all the difference in the world. Thank you so much !
