Update: She was able to get an appointment with another vet for much cheaper. We no longer need $4500 but we do still need to come up with $1200. Any help would be appreciated tremendously!

Hey friends, my sister is in need of some help. Her dog Lillie has been experiencing some concerning symptoms, so she went to the vet. She was diagnosed with pyometra, which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. She went to Wilson’s where she was under the impression she would be able to do a payment plan. That was not the case. While it was cheaper than her usual vet office, they still required $2k as a deposit to even have the surgery. They want to keep her for a couple nights in boarding to make sure she gets IV antibiotics and fluids, on top of the surgery, which they will essentially spay her. Over all, the cost is approximately $4k+… without the surgery, Lillie is in pain and her uterus could rupture at any time… If you are in the position to help, we are grateful for your kindness.
