Hello! My name is Virginia McGlothlin, though my friends call me Jenny! I’m from Locust Grove, VA, and my family and I really need your help!!
Kara is our 8 year old Rottweiler, and she’s in trouble. In 2017 for my 14th birthday my dad got me Kara from one of his good friends as a birthday present. She was the first dog I had that we raised from a puppy to an adult. As a puppy she was handful, always chewing up my socks and stuff animals, and to this day she still will steal the occasional sock from my hamper! This dog is a Velcro dog, she loves her people and her people love her back just as much. Through the pandemic and beyond, Kara has been a much needed light in the lives of my family and I.
Recently Kara has gotten a cancerous tumor on her right shoulder that we need to operate on, but we just don’t have the money. If we can’t operate, we’ll have to put her down, and that’ll mean for the first time in my life I won’t have a dog.
Any donations that are made will be put towards paying her surgery, which is currently scheduled for Wednesday the 28th at Paradocs Animal Hospital in Locust Grove, VA. Please donate what you can so we can save our best friend and family member!
Many thanks, the McGlothlins.
