Urgent Help Needed for Jannat Fatima’s Medical Treatment

Assalamu Alaikum,

“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of humanity.” (Quran 5:32)

This is about Jannat Fatima, the 12-year-old daughter of my driver, Noor Sultan, who lives in Islamabad. When she was three, Jannat suffered severe burns covering 35% of her body. Despite treatment at PIMS Burn Centre, she now has painful scars on her face, abdomen, groins, and thighs. Her condition is worsening as her organs are affected by the heat, and her growth is stunted due to the loss of skin elasticity in critical areas.

Jannat needs several surgeries, before she sees a normal life:

Noor Sultan earns only Rs. 25,000 ($90) per month and works tirelessly, even at night, after losing his day job. It is impossible for him to afford the necessary treatments for his daughter with his limited income.

Currently, Jannat is not scheduled for surgery and is under the care of Dr. Faheem, who has highlighted her delicate condition. She urgently needs numerous bandage changes, antibiotics, and ointments. A major issue is her diet; she is severely malnourished and has no appetite due to the impact on her internal organs. The funds collected will be used for her ongoing medical needs, which are beyond her family’s means.

On humanitarian grounds, I am asking for your donations to help cover the cost of Jannat’s treatment. I am also working to have her flown to the USA for advanced treatment at the Chicago Burn Hospital with the help of a charitable organization and exploring treatment options in India as well.
