Urgent Help Needed for Ismail's Family in Gaza

Hello, my name is Jason and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Ismail from CA, USA. I met with Ismail’s older sister, Asmaa, through social media and have had the pleasure of getting to know her and Ismail. I have received photos, videos and voice messages from both parties.

Hello! This is Ismail from Gaza I'm a life-loving person. I have a loving beautiful wife Asma'a who is my queen and two adorable children, a beautiful two years old daughter, her name is Farah which means Joy and Happiness.

We named her Farah because she brought us joy and happiness to our life when she was born, and a baby boy who was born in the war and his name is Muhamad.

I also have a big, lovely family which is beside me (My parents, and three siblings with their families). My beloved mother Majeeda who is sick with rheumatism, is also diabetic and has high blood pressure. Also, my precious father Muhamad who is old and sick too. My younger brother Bassam, my older sister Asma'a, and her son Firas And my youngest sister Bassama, and her husband Ahmed and their children Adam, Shatha and Ayham.

Firas my nephew is about to be 11 years old and he is an only child, is suffering from Ewing sarcoma cancer, It is malignant bones and soft tissues cancer. He started his treatment in Gaza a year ago. Firas had five chemotherapy cycles in Al-Rantisi hospital in Gaza, He took the fifth cycle in the first days of the war, Firas and his mom had to go under the bombing since he was in so much pains.

After destoying the only hospital for children with cancer. His condition got worse and then WHO helped the patients to get out of Gaza. My sister and her only child travelled to Jordan. Firas completed his 14 chemo cycles and had a very complicated surgery which is scapula , joint and collarbone removal of the right shoulder.

Unfortunately, within a week from the last chemo, they found out that the tumors attacked his lungs and right shoulder back again. He is taking new chemo cycles and chemo pills intensively in the mean time and seeing a doctor in the pallitiative care. His case is very critical since it is stage 4 cancer and we just pray for his speed recovery and hope his body is responding to the treatment otherwise, they won't be able to help him.

We live together because we value our family where we all live in a humble house, our simple beautiful life was peaceful, full of loving and caring.

Until October 7th happened and turned our lives upside down. Since that day we have been living the most intense terrifying moment ever

Gaza has been a land of continuous wars. In each aggression.This war took everything from us. and we lost our home, where we grew up. We literally also lost our memories and our sources of income. Everything is now gone forever. Ever since the war began, horrible events have been recurring, events that no one can handle. My family was displaced more than 2 times trying to escape death.

Life in gaza is beyond any horrors imaginable. I might not be able to encapsulate into words the horrors of this war, but the news is in front of you on the screen, as clear as day. Words fail to describe the scenes which recur every day of this war. Life in Gaza has become impossible.

Our hearts remain warm and our souls pure, we search for hope and live on the memories that we wish would come back.
