URGENT help needed for Honey the cat
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ian
Honey is a stray cat that was living in the Eastwood area in NSW. She was being fed and we had high hopes to trap her. Honey however was hit by a car at 9pm, 15th July outside Eastwood Police station. A local grocery store owner alerted me to her accident.
After trying to follow her blood trail, we could not locate her and we have been out looking for her over the past 10 days.
She was then found in Rowe Lane in very bad condition. We were able to trap her on the 26th July and rushed her to local vet.
Honey has a ruptured eye socket and her eye ball is exposed and rotting, she has a broken jaw and has been unable to eat over the last 10 days.
Honey will stay at the local vet for however long it takes for her to recover, lucky her blood work shows that her organs are functioning, however the damage to her face is quite traumatic.
For now, we would very much appreciate any offer of help, no matter how small or large, it is very much a blessing. We do not want to give up on her as I can see that she seems to be a nice little kitty from what she has been able to show us considering her dire condition.
Again, WE REALLY appreciate any help towards Honey.
Cheers
Ian
