My name is Hazel, my girlfriend Hypatia and I are in crisis and desperately need financial help to avoid eviction.

Several months ago I injured my back, and as of October I was in so much pain I was unable to work for 2 months while I desperately sought treatment. I was turned down for unemployment during that time, and we have only remained housed because of the generosity of strangers.

In early December I was finally able to get surgery for my spine, and am now finally pain free, but missing so much work has left my bank account empty and bills pilling up. Without at least $700 by the end of the month we will be facing the threat of eviction.

I have so little hope for the future, we are both at our limits and running on fumes mentally and emotionally. Please help us stay housed, I'm genuinely begging, we are both terrified and I just don't know what to do.
