I am Cherlynn Berry and a member of Got Your Six K9 Rescue. In the last week, our rescue has been hit hard by the storms, and the landlord will not help even though the fences belong to him and were pulled out of the concrete, nor will he fix the air conditioner on the building.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit working with dogs that have been released on the streets of Phoenix, Arizona, and El Paso, Texas. Also, saving dogs from high-kill shelters. We have weekly adoption events in Historic Downtown Glendale, AZ, and we have a working relationship with Soldier's Best Friend and Border Patrol to train and furnish dogs to them.

Our problem is that the monsoon storm that came on August 25, 2025, and caused Sky Harbor Terminal 4 to lose its roof was also the "Straight Line Winds" that destroyed the kennel facility that sits at the southeast corner of Sky Harbor Airport. 70 MPH winds scattered kennels and dogs everywhere, and some of the very scared dogs were trying to make their way onto I-10, which would have been more devastating, but all the dogs were gathered, and now there is no place to put them.

We are looking for donations to rebuild or someplace to move to that will be better housing for the dogs. Any donations, big or small, will be helpful.

We just need immediate help.
