Urgent Help Needed for Gloria and Zoe in Crisis

My daughter Zoe and myself are currently in a crisis. I did not renew my lease at the end of August. We had signed a 60 day notice to vacate at the end of August. However, we still needed time to find a better place to live. The leasing office verbally agreed to let us stay as month-to-month after our lease ended. But it was never in writing. So by surprise on October 1st when our rent was only $80, we called the office and they stated they were expecting us to be moved out by the next day. Mind you we did not have a place to go, neither could we stay at our apartment anymore. They had already rented out our unit to another tenant and they stated “they didn’t have to let us know.” Zoe and I are currently living in a hotel. Our checkout date is Monday the 14th of October. After that, we have no where to go but to setup a tent at our family ranch and wait it out there. I know times are hard, and we appreciate anything that anyone could help with. I never dreamt or believed that I would ever be in this situation, after working so hard all my life. I’d still be working if I had not had a stroke. Zoe is currently 6 months into her claim with disability. Her lawyers advised that if she were to work even a part time job, the government would more than likely see that she is capable of work and deny her claim. I get paid by disability next on November 8. God willing by then we will have a place ready to move into. We are desperately asking for any donations to help take care of our move in costs.
