Urgent Help Needed for Family's Recovery After Fire

This morning at 2am, August 15th, our lives were turned upside down by a devastating house fire. The fire broke out on the third floor of our home, where my bedroom and office were located. Although the fire department managed to contain the flames to the third floor, we lost everything in that part of the house. Tragically, the entire first and second floors, where my children’s rooms and belongings were, suffered severe water damage.

As a single mom of two—my 16-year-old and 4-year-old—we're now facing the unimaginable. My children start school in just two weeks, and we have lost nearly all of our possessions. With the extent of the damage, we don’t know when or if we will be able to return to our home.

We’re reaching out for help as we try to rebuild our lives. Any support you can offer will go towards replacing essential items for my children and me, securing temporary housing, and helping us get back on our feet.
