Urgent Help Needed for Family Left in crisis

Where do I start?

My supposed partner of 21 years has up and left me and our sons, with no way to support ourselves. He cleaned out our account and moved his direct deposit to another account, so I have no money to pay rent, bills, or buy groceries. He also took the only car that ran, leaving me with no transportation. We found out that he's been planning this for a couple of months, while undergoing surgeries for cancer and heart issues. While I was caring for him, he had planned to abandon us. Last summer, he begged me to sell our homestead, which was supposed to be the security for our sons and me when he passed away. All our money from the proceeds (it wasn’t much) went to living in Airbnb’s while waiting to purchase another property, of which the sale ended up falling through and leaving us literally homeless. So, with the remaining money we had left, we moved to a rental in Akron, where the boys and I are now living. Having owned a property for many years, the high rents were impossible for us to afford, and we found the cheapest rental we could in the inner city.

Our sons are autistic, and our youngest needs constant care, so my adult life has been as a housewife and a caregiver; I haven't worked outside the home in over 20 years. It's going to take me some time to get working. I'm applying for all the assistance I can to tide us over until I can earn money, but he's left us with nothing to keep a roof over our heads for now. I need to humble myself and ask for any help that anyone can give us, just so we can get through the next couple of months and get back on our feet. We can't afford to move, so I must try and make it work in this house. Otherwise, I am afraid we could become homeless. I am mortified and in despair from what my former partner has done to us, but I must take care of my sons and somehow make it through this. Anything that you can give to help would be greatly appreciated.
