I have never ever done this before. And frankly, I'm a little embarrassed. But desperate measures. Some unforseen circumstances have come up in the past couple of months. Me and my dog, Della, were forced to leave our residence in Clermont. It became basically uninhabitable. The previous landlord sold the property of the trailer I was renting. And the new landlord decided he's going to remove the trailer and replace it with apartments. The trailer was just too far gone to fix up. But he allowed me to stay there on a week to week basis until he got ready to move it out. I had nowhere else to go or the money to go there. Unfortunately, a few days ago the ceiling in the bedroom caved in. So we had no choice but to leave. I'm now staying in Kissimmee with my dog, Della. I had to come way down here because the hotel rates are much cheaper. But I only have the room booked for 2 weeks. I've been Doordashing every day to try to come up with enough money to stay at least another week or so. Eventually, I want to get back to Clermont, but it will be difficult, financially, while at the same time trying to book this hotel room. I have no friends or family who are able to take me and Della in at this time. I have my social security income to rely on. But it's not much. And again, at this point, it's going toward this hotel room. I haven't worked in a couple of years because of health issues. Which is the reason I retired early. I'm trying to raise enough money to get back to Clermont and possibly get an apartment for me and Della. Again, I feel very embarrassed doing this, but I had to swallow my pride. Obviously, I didn't see this coming. If I were alone, I could stay in a shelter, but I have my dog, Della, with me. And I won't give her up. She's my best friend and I love her very much. She's all I have in this world, and I'm all she has. Giving her up is not an option. Even if we have to live in my car. Any help I can get would be much appreciated, whether financially, or if you or someone you know has something I could rent. Just keep in mind I have a 100 lb. German Shepherd.
