Hello All - I have a friend in need of some assistance for two medical procedures. After a completely botched knee replacement surgery 2017, it has been a long road to recovery. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ❤️
Here is my friend, Corine:
Hi, my name is Corine, and I’m asking for help for the first time in my life.
I am 69 years-old and live alone in Colorado. Over the years, I’ve had seven surgeries on my right knee/leg, and right now I have a chance to finally save it. My doctors have recommended four procedures. Two have already been paid for, but two more are urgently needed and they are costly for me as I live on Social Security.
One procedure costs $750, and the other is $300.
At the beginning of every month, my Social Security is already gone—there’s no money left extra doctor visits or emergencies like this. Between the constant pain, swelling, and my leg giving out, I am completely worn down. Some days are harder than I ever imagined.
All I want is to walk around the block again, visit my grandchildren and to live with a little independence and dignity.
I’ve never asked for help before, but now I truly need it. Any amount helps more than you know. And if you’re unable to donate, I completely understand—thank you just for taking the time to read my story.
