Hello, I’m Juan Carlos Patino, a 29-year-old navigating the challenges of sarcoma cancer, a journey that began with my diagnosis in August. This experience has been one of the toughest I’ve faced, both physically and emotionally, and the financial burden has added to the weight on my shoulders.

As my treatment plans evolve, I’m finding that many of my medical needs aren’t covered by insurance. I’m doing everything I can to advocate for myself—contacting my insurance provider and seeking financial aid, grants, and charitable support. But often, these needs arise unexpectedly and require immediate attention, making it hard to keep up.
