On July 25th, our family’s world was turned upside down when my brother, Brandon, suffered a ruptured spinal epidural cyst. The rupture caused him to go septic, leading to severe spinal cord damage and leaving him without control of his lower body.
Brandon has always been the kind of person who would help anyone in need—whether it was cutting firewood, fixing cars, or tackling any handyman task to lend a hand. Now, he’s the one who needs our help.
Through incredible determination, Brandon has recently regained the ability to move his toes slightly—an encouraging sign of progress. Soon, he will begin an intensive inpatient rehabilitation program, where he’ll be working tirelessly to regain as much independence as possible.
Unfortunately, Brandon’s current apartment is on the second floor, making it impossible for him to return home safely. He will need a new living arrangement that is wheelchair accessible and adapted to his new needs. This transition comes with overwhelming medical, housing, and daily living expenses that he simply cannot face alone.
We are reaching out for help to support Brandon through this difficult time—whether it’s covering medical & rehab costs, mobility equipment, or setting him up in a safe and accessible home. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping him rebuild his life.
Thank you for supporting Brandon on his road to recovery. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express.
